my story
Michael Pizzano is a New York–based director, writer, and producer whose work is drawn to stories with strong atmosphere, emotional tension, and a distinct tonal point of view. Across narrative film, his focus is on creating work that feels cinematic, human, and psychologically alive.
Alongside his independent filmmaking, Michael has built a career leading branded and commercial productions as a senior producer, developing and overseeing projects from concept through delivery. That experience has shaped him into a filmmaker who understands both the creative and practical demands of production — someone equally invested in story, collaboration, and execution.
Whether working in narrative or commercial spaces, he brings a filmmaker’s eye, a producer’s discipline, and a deep respect for the collaborative process. He is especially drawn to projects with bold perspective, tonal specificity, and something meaningful at stake beneath the surface.
